MYGOODACT WINS WENCHE FOSS’ HONORARY AWARD!

We are very happy and proud to see that MyGoodAct won Wenche Foss’ Honorary Award.

MyGoodAct was founded by Jonas Borchgrevink, a student at BI Norwegian Business School, who financed and build the fund raising portal. When MyGoodAct first launched on June 29th 2011, it had 815 people sign up in the first 24 hours, beating Facebook’s record from 2004.

MyGoodAct is a partner in Partnership for Change, and one of the tools offered as part of the Partnership for Change online community.

About Wenche Foss’ Honorary Award: Wikipedia: Wenche Foss’ award is a Norwegian honorary award given out on actress Wenche Foss’ birthday, 5th December. The prize is NOK 100,000 and assigned to ”aperson or organization that largely can be associated with Wenche Foss’ joie de vivre and dedication”. [1] The award was instituted by the magazine to the magazine in 2009, which also stands for the prize money. Jury members are EllenHorn, editor of Look and Listen Harald Haave and the Mayor of Oslo Fabian Stang.
